Seizures in dogs could be a large number of things, some not so bad, others bad.
This. Do some research on the dog breed and see if they are prone to seizures. I had a dog growing up that had them 1-2 times every month. As long as I was with him, he wasn't too scared. He was just like "oh hell here we go again." Then once it wore off 5-10 minutes later, I had to take him out cause he was going to completely empty himself whether it was poop, pee, or vomit. Apparently chihuahuas often have them starting at 5 years. Ours started this past year when he was nearly 7. He has one every other month and has gotten to that "oh hell here we go again" mindset. He vomits during the seizure but it only lasts a couple minutes for him. Then he's running around like nothing happened.
