Topic	"Car crash robberies" are now a thing

The robbers needed to be pretty damn confident that their haul would not only be worth the risk, but worth leaving their original car (even if the minivan itself was stolen, police recovering it could lead to evidence helping to identify these guys). I'm pretty sure BOTH of their cars were stolen.
