I love the beauty of this intro, followed by a sound that kicks your teeth in. The combination of e guitars and strings are really cool. I like guitars a lot in non rock/metal settings evidently lol God and when it goes quiet again and that fucking flute kicks in holy shit hell yeah. I love how they chose to incorporate it in the OST.

Okay lmao this Rise of the Third Power song feels really cheesy. Like what everyone thinks of when they think of Irish rock, except for actual Irish rock enthusiasts ig. Fun as a novelty song, but doesn't reach any of the heights that Carrying the Weight of Life achieves.

Holy shit the rhythm of this song. Just that simple drum beat steady in the background is enough to make this one of my favourite area themes in the game. And when the vocals kick in? Hell yeah.

Ok now this song is more my speed. The backing strings are kind of a generic thing, but they do well to push forward. Feels very "Let's keep moving!" I also enjoyed how it evolved and quieted down, like once you get past that push you can finally relax sort of dealio. Surprisingly tight match, I was worried I was going to end up dunking on this OST too hard lmao ... O'virbus just barely edges out and it is 100% those drums.

Yeah this song kicks ass right out the gate. I controversially consider Drifting Soul to be kind of mid, but the decision to turn it into a battle theme rocks my socks off.

This is even more familiar than the Irish rock song and by that I mean that I am pretty sure I've heard this in a YouTube video or a TikTok or an unskippable ad. I'm sorry guys I don't like dunking on things.
