I think dwarf actors like Dinklage were justified in their outrage because it's one of the few roles that already naturally existed for them. Making them bigger size was not only stupid, I think it takes away from the fact that their size helped Snow White feel less threatened. A woman living in a strange house with 7 full-sized men just doesn't have the same vibe.

This is even worse though, if they were just gonna make them dwarves again...hit up those actors ffs.

I think he's referring to the Snow White and the Huntsman movie that had "normal sized" actors for the dwarfs, but digitally altered to be dwarf sized.

Disney were gonna cast people with dwarfism, even consulting the members of dwarfism community but Dinklage throws a tantrum that it reinforce the stereotypes on dwarfism while being "progressive" on casting a Latina for Snow White.
