While a good idea in theory, that would be virtually impossible to police and likely wouldn't work in practice. Straight-up banning political parties would generally violate any free speech/freedom of association protections in any democratic country, and even if it didn't it would be easily circumvented. Instead of a candidate running as, say, a member of the Liberal Party, they would run as the candidate endorsed by the Liberal Political Association. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer.
