Also, full agreement. The reason is, national polls were actually pretty darn close, and generally, when a candidate dominates another candidate that much in the national popular vote, you would expect they would have a similar victory in the electoral map. It really was a case of the smallest of cracks that were overlooked. It's the type of thing you can't really find out until you lose one time like that, unfortunately.

Edit: And yeah, if gambling for presidential elections was legal, and I was someone with money in 2016, I would have bet everything, and became one depressed individual on that election's outcome.
