Raisin Hell > Original Gangster > Hes The DJ Im The Rapper My case for Clube de Esquina: It's probably a long shot to convince you guys to choose an older foreign language album, but I've spent a lot of this year investigating classic records that I had overlooked until now, and Clube de Esquina was the absolute best of the lot. This is one of the most important Brazilian pop records ever, and an amazing blend of psychedelic pop, folk, rock and latin rhythms - like a South American version of Abbey Road or Forever Changes. There's so much variety and joy in this record, I absolutely adore it. I'd be fascinated to see what people think, and it's perfect for this topic too - the track rankings could be really diverse and interesting!
