Welp, I tried for another two hours and, although I was getting better at the parry timing, I just lost the will to continue and did it in easy. It's is ridiculous how much easier it is. This whole DLC is just one extreme to the other with no middle ground.

Which leads to the final boss. Bumped it back up to Hard, but it didn't feel like it. Only bit I struggled on was figuring out how to actually target the damn cable on the back of its head. Definitely a cooler final boss to look at, at least, despite how many asspulls there were. Disappointed the post-credits scene was the same, but at least we didn't have sad Eggman this time.

Overall, I think this whole DLC was a cool idea really poorly executed. I would have put the focus on the friends and only had Sonic playable right at the end. Weird also that you could just completely ignore all the new cyberspace levels.
