I drive a truck. I never complain about gas prices. I have about a 20 mile round trip to work. 100 miles a week. A grocery store trip on the weekend. Outside work I barely drive and mostly stay at home in my free time.

I only have to fill up my truck once every 3 weeks. I prefer cheaper gas but dont really care what it is because ultimately I cant control it, Ill pay it no matter what it is, and its not going to make that much of a difference to me. Maybe $20 here or there between expensive and normal. Not exactly breaking my monthly budget.

Ill gladly pay the little bit more in gas for the convenience of a truck. Im 62 so getting in and out of a truck is preferred, especially the older I get. I like the long wheel base, weight, and 4 wheel drive for winter driving. It gets bad in the winter where I live and its needed. Plus the height clearance for driving through drifts. Its a godsend in the winter.

Lastly if I need to haul shit in the bed or pull a trailer, camper, or boat I can. Love having a truck and will never complain about the gas.
