I literally just decided to look up this game after seeing the name on the list for K titles for the Genesis, only to find out this was the fucking precursor to the Heroes of Might and Magic games on PC, which is one of the most influential games on myself as a young gamer! WTF?!??! You can see all the HOMM trappings in this game, though in a less polished state. This is pretty much how I felt. I ended up going back and playing a lot of Genesis games in the early 2000s, and was kinda shocked to find what was basically Heroes of Might and Magic.
