Do a sailing class. It's cheaper than a boat tour, plus you can learn shit. It's a nice 2 or 3 hour venture around the lake. Then the architect tour is awesome too.

Miracle Mile has a lot of cool shit, various museums and gardens to go through.

Can go to wrigley, a bears game, see the lake, hit the navy pier, the Chicago zoo is free. Then there's the ridiculous amount of awesome food places.

In a month or so, damn thats gunna be cold to sail. But yea, the shedd, field museum, art institute, millennium park, museum campus for soldier field, mag mile, wrigleyville, Lincoln park zoo, navy pier, LSD beaches(I know its probably gunna be cold), architecture boat tour (they have indoor and outdoor), Willis tower, United center for bulls or hawks game, Cadillac theater or Chicago theater depending on whats playing.

Plenty of teriffic breweries and food spots of course. Hit superdawg, jimmys, or if you are up for the drive gene and Judes out in river grove.
