| UF8 09/16/23 10:50:21 PM #20: | Sigma 1 Take Back the Tower departure feels like it slightly overstays its welcome to me, by the end the backing elements had kind of gone from being a great complement to the rest of it to just feeling like they'd been a bit overplayed and lost some of their appeal thinking about it, sigma stage is a song that tries for an oddly specific vibe (of a more contemplative but still sentai-esque action-focused song), and i dig it the gran turismo comparison is funny. i definitely wouldn't say that i'd ever fall for this being a gt song since it is compositionally quite different but obviously it is the same style lol. always appreciate most 90s jazz/lounge songs, and especially ones like this solar inferno has always been one of those mm songs that feels like it has lyrics to it to me, and unfortunately here that doesn't help it really ...
