| rwlh 09/15/23 5:15:04 PM #3: | Public service announcement: The NES songs in this contest have been uploaded (by me!) in a format ripped directly from the emulated audio files. This means they not only have non-potato quality audio, but they also loop properly! If you've ever attempted to find halfway decent YouTube links for Mega Man NES songs (or anything NES for that matter) you might appreciate this. Loop points make this less of an issue, but I hope you at least enjoy the songs in great quality. For the songs, Wily 1 is a classic for a reason (I imagine there will be a number of posts expressing some variant of this opinion). Woe to its opponents. The second match has a Mega Man Soccer song - can I just say I'm tickled chartreuse that we got a Mega Man Soccer song in? Zero Stage 2 is cool too (toohoo, one might say).
