Supposedly, Megan Fox only does Nitara's voice in cutscenes and pre-battle dialogue. Cristina Valenzuela (a.k.a. "Cristina Vee"; the voice of Shantae, Tulin from The Legend of Zelda, and Verosika Mayday in Helluva Boss, among many other roles) recorded her in-battle grunts, with Netherrealm clearly wasting such a talented VA in the process. She didn't even do the battle grunt? Dammit, I was just going to complement her on it because they sounded good and now I can't find anything good to say about her lol. What a bad call on NRS part.
