Morgana telling you to go to bed doesnt annoy me that much tbh. If he wasnt there telling you to sleep the game would just tell you instead like in 4.

But the constant repeating of missions and goals idek what the purpose is. Even if you take months off the game still has many ways of telling you whats going on, such as meeting with the team and discussing the situation.
I think the "you're tired. go to sleep" meme with Morgana is just the most egregious example of something Morgana's doing the entire game. And it's also just sort of funny because it's like, why do you know more about me being tired than I do. But Morgana is nonstop expositing everything to you all of the time. He's basically used as the MC's inner voice since the MC barely has one, but it's excessive and unnecessary most of the time.

I've been playing more P5 Strikers recently so this example came to mind. In P3 you can use a random crane game machine around town and it's more like:
  1. "You see a crane game. Use it? (Yes/No)"
  2. "Yes"
  3. "You won a Jack Frost doll from the machine"
  4. "Item obtained: Jack Frost doll"

In P5 Strikers there's a capsule machine you can use that can give you a useful item. I was thinking of trying to get a bunch, but the interaction is like:
  1. "You see a capsule machine"
  2. Morgana: "Hey this looks interesting. Maybe we can get something good"
  3. Morgana: "Do you want to give it a try? (Yes/No)"
  4. "Yes"
  5. "You spent 500 yen and played the game."
  6. *screen momentarily fades to black for some reason*
  7. "Something came out"
  8. Morgana: "Aw man that's a pretty lame prize. Don't feel too bad about it"
  9. "You're disappointed in the prize"
  10. "Item obtained: useless junk thing"

I kind of made that up but that's the gist of how P5 interactions go. And it's like that nonstop, with Morgana voicing every single thing you do and look at, even after the text bubbles already just said the same thing. When I first started P5 I thought he was an improvement over Teddie, whose contributions to most of the group dialogue is usually shallow and one-note. But by the end I'd rather have Teddie. At least he's out of sight most of time.
