Its because of the time it would take to do so. Votes like that are very time consuming and prevent the Senate from doing other business. Also do not try to spin this and blame the Dems. There is only 1 person at fault for this and he's from Alabama. Well there's only so much I can hear for months "this is crippling us!" and no one doing anything, when there is a way for them to do SOMETHING. Make it painful for the GOP as well and delay anything they want for these confirmations and maybe they will start pressuring Tubey. But all I see is a whole lot of nothing happening.
