There has never been a single game that has benefitted from an encumbrance system and all games should eliminate it forever. It just decentivizes exploration. Heard this game has a particularly annoying one that I'm hoping doesn't turn me off too much. Could not disagree more specifically on the "decentivizes exploration" point. If you want to pick up a bunch of useless garbage, you can spec towards carry capacity. Otherwise, it makes your exploration more focused because what you pickup actually matters. No carry capacity just leads to mashing a button while you run around and ending up with thousands of items you have to go through (or more likely), you're just going to dump at a vendor without even looking at it. --- Phantom Dust.
