It couldn't have been connected to IT. Part 1 came out over a year at least after this event. This would have been the most early movie promotion in history I think you underestimate how much people will run with something after its first announced, which was years before it came out. Considering the hype the first miniseries always got, as soon as the movie was announced people probably just ran with it. --- If we are but brief cracks of light between two infinite darknesses, why do anything but flicker and extinguish? ...
