Not a lot of details yet as first responders are still on scene (first calls came in around 7:30pm, it's 9:11pm now). They're saying at least 9 shot with several dead. It felt like the frequency of these had decreased for a while... RIP to all of the victims

TRABUCO CANYON, Calif. (KABC) -- Nine or more people were shot at a bar in Orange County and the suspect is wounded or possibly dead at the scene, sheriff's officials tell Eyewitness News.

Images from the scene indicated at least three bodies on the ground covered by sheets.

A massive law enforcement presence was responding to Cook's Corner, a well-known biker bar and grill on Santiago Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon.

The incident was reported just before 7:30 p.m. according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect was described as down at the scene, but it was not clear if the individual was still alive.

FBI and ATF agents were also responding to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Details on other possible fatalities at the scene were not immediately available.
Cook's Corner is a popular and well-known hangout for motorcycle enthusiasts with a history that dates back more than a century. Andrew Jackson Cook acquired the Orange County property in the late 1800s. It opened as a restaurant in 1926 and then sold alcohol after Prohibition ended.

The Cook family sold the bar in the 1970s.

Crowds were gathered Wednesday to enjoy the bar's regular Spaghetti Night Special.
