Topic	Beauty standards throughout the course of history are gnarly.
TodorokiHayato 08/22/23 7:56:15 AM #1:	Ancient Greeks loved unibrows In medieval Japan, black teeth and high eyebrows were praised Throughout all societies, the idea of being curvy and overweight as attractive was pretty pervasive Anecdotally, I've heard beauty standards for men right now in Japan are: being skinny (flexibility in trying new styles), and tall. Whereas, other parts of Eastern Asia, being muscular is praised. It's really a trip thinking about how different societies influence our idea of what beautiful is. These cultural variations throughout the course of history are fun to study about.
