The gods task him with tracking down and killing Hephaestus (I know, Hephaestus is the Greek version) so he can enter Elysium. At the end after he kills him, he's shown eternally involved in future wars like the Crusades and World Wars because he chose armed combat over non-violent resistance, dooming humanity and himself to war. That sounds like an awful Gladiator sequel but as an original film that sounds kickass --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console.
