When you hear a man say this in response to a topic like this, especially if they come from a religious perspective: you can be assured they respect women so much they want to take away their reproductive freedom, doubt them by default in sexual assault cases, and probably even respect them so much to deny them the right to vote .

They also probably look down on sex workers and claim that, no matter what they say, they don't enjoy their work and are being exploited whether they accept it or not. It's not a profession where everything is regulated and above board, nah, they're all poor drug-addled single mothers forced to sell their bodies to make their abusive pimp richer. Like in the movies!
