| Disillusion 07/29/23 5:31:31 PM #45: | Dialga's Fight to the Finish! Northeast Frost Street Azure Archipelago Match 1 is a tricky pick, they're both very good songs. I think this is genuinely the last time I will ever pick this way for this matchup, but I'm sticking with it. Best of luck to both! R4 starts off with a pretty good matchup between Kirby and Border Down! While not my favorite song from Forgotten Land, I really liked Frost Street to begin with and it's only grown on me more at this point. Purple Town's harmonica has always been the best lead-in for the rest of the song for me, and the synths are still a delight to listen to. Very close match for me here! Being in VGMC for this long has definitely made me appreciate songs like Moonlight Concert more, with its folksy vibes and its Umineko/Gust-like vocals. But I gotta give it to Azure Archipelago here, its pleasant beach vibes with those steel drums are a combo I will always adore. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
