I think conceptually Seasons is intended to be a bit more "combat" focused and Ages a bit more "puzzle" focused but it's not a super huge difference in difficulty or complexity between the two or LA. Well, there's one super obnoxious minigame in Ages if you have a bad sense of rhythm/timing but I don't remember offhand if you have to do it to complete the game or if you just had to do it for a piece of heart.

I mean I definitely think there's a step up in complexity from LA, it's taking that structure and adding stuff on top of it (map gimmicks, for one, not to mention the link system). There's a lot of weird experiments like seeds and the animal buddies too, and these things are a lot more refined than Minish Cap's experiments imo.

Whether or not that's good or bad is up to you, but if you're high on LA you should enjoy the oracles. Personally I prefer them.
