The above video is parody but it represents a very real problem that lonely, introverted, internet denizens have when finally taking a chance on themselves, and going out into the real world for an actual physical datethey simply dont act normal.

Look, it might seem like Im being cruelbut I legit am happy for anyone that makes an attempt to get out into the real world and make it happen its just that I need to drive home the point that the number one thing to keep in mind is act normal

With great emphasis on the word act because you dont just suddenly adapt to society, and soak all of the mainstream social taboos just by strolling out into the sunlight.

Ive observed so many disaster stories from CEmen claiming that theyve given it a shot, and it turned out so terrible that its given them something akin to PTSD, and now will no longer try. They use it as sb excuse to just give up.

The thing is that CEmen have somehow got it stuck in their heads that they need to be themselves and that their date should like them for who they are and although thats ultimately true if long term relationships (with compromise) its not the case for first impressions.

You dont go talking about your mental disorders (especially if self diagnosed), your virginity, or weird nerd hobbies. You just try and behave like a normal human being. What does that actually mean, well that varies from person to person depending upon where your personality and social awareness currently stands, but in a nutshell, your goal is simply to get a second date. Nothing more. Nothing less.

So knowing shes going to probably go tell her friends about your date, dont say or do anything thats going to cause their friends to cringe and bring up red flags. If its not something youd bring up to a complete stranger while in line at the DMV to renew your license, then dont say it in your first date!

Dont give up. Just use common sense. Be normal. Thats the key. ACT NORMAL
