They offer no important lessons. i'd take lessons from celebrities with a grain of salt, but with respect to successful people in general who actually made their money through means other than cronyism / inheritance / popularity contest industries, there's plenty of valuable mental models to be derived from interacting with or studying them and the circumstances and context in which they thrived.
