Topic	here's some games I'm looking forward to

I'm excited for it to come though because it will mean that I can officially retire my 3ds. having all these games in a super accessible place like switch or pc means that they'll live on well beyond those old dead consoles. also I love that this is called apollo justice trilogy - give the man his flowers. 18 - super mario bros wonder Switch 10/20/23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JStAYvbeSHc&pp=ygUGd29uZGVy what a terrifying fever dream. I kind of hate everything going on here. the character voices, the things talking in level, the strange physics.. man I have no idea if I even want any of this. but man, it's a god damn trip watching some of the stuff in this trailer, and it's probably going to be expertly crafted. I hate how good some of these recycled mario games can be. 17 - super mario rpg Switch 11/17/23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r5PJx7rlds speaking of recycled mario games! I really do like this silly little game even if I make fun of it all the time. I put the original in front of my then 9 year old last year and he really liked it - until he got towards the back half of the game and the isometric platforming got too annoying for him to stick with it. I look at the trailer and it just looks like a faithful recreation and nothing more, but I bet there's all sorts of cute quality of life stuff in here and new content to try to justify a 60 dollar price tag. 16 - mortal kombat 1 PC, consoles 9/19/23 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ6eFEjFfJ0 yeah man I play mortal kombat for the story. it's so good! the way these games play out endear me to these 25 year old characters in a way that street fighter or other fighters wish they could. mk10 and 11 had incredible story modes that were worth just watching, if nothing else. I'm not here to do fatalities and study the meta.
