I've made people unfriend me by being an unapologetic liberal. I would rather them do it than me. Yes I know a cheap sense of "victory". I installed an unfriend plugin on my browser. Last person to unfriend me was a high school acquaintance, never even spoke to her. I posted a picture of the blue line flag with the blue line peeled back revealing a swastika. Three hours later I got a notification of deletion lol. I have found there is no point in being civil or trying to rationalise or have mature discussions with MAGAt's. They are completely unwilling and unable to see the truth in anything that doesn't fit their narrow worldview. Of course this is a personal choice for everyone, If you don't mind having trump supporting friends more power to you. I however do not. Non trump supporting conservatives I can tolerate even though I disagree. MAGAt's I refuse to tolerate any longer, it does not make one close minded.

And yeah, this is one of the problems I think a lot of people are facing. I'm fortunate that, in this case, it's just a former co-worker. However, I've also had to cut off a teacher that I looked up to for most of my life. He started posting thinly-veiled racist shit after Trump became president. The final straw for me when it came to him was him cheering on the capitol riot as it was happening.
