Finished it up, some quick spoilery thoughts on the story. Overall was good for a Diablo story, which admittedly isn't too high of a bar.
-Donan's death might have been the stupidest and most pointless death I've ever seen in a piece of media. -The woman nearly possessed by Andarial seemed like a completely different character when she returns that I thought it was going to be a plot point. Guessing some rewrites happened at some point with her. -The party mentions a few times that they don't think Lilith is being truthful about why she's doing everything she is doing and that it isn't for the benefit of Sanctuary, but if she did have an ulterior motive it was never explored or explained. In her death it seemed very much like she did just want to end the eternal conflict. -Very much a non-ending setting up for more story content. Really hoping that Neyrelle running off with the stone ends up with something other than it being jammed into someone's forehead. -My boy Duriel! -I don't understand demon 'death' in the Diablo world. Are only the prime and lesser evils immortal, or is Lilith also still 'alive' somehow even though she was killed? If she is I'm expecting the story to end up with you needing to work with her against the prime evils.
An enjoyable enough ride of a story, now onto the endgame.
