I think it's sweet. That was my adolescence, and I have a ton of fondness for that era. It is a bit weird in that my nostalgia is for, say, listening to Infinity on High while playing Gears of War on Xbox Live and drinking Halo 3 Mountain Dew Game Fuel when I pretty firmly was an awkward teenager, figuring out how to bridge that gap between being a child and adult, while some of what I see coming up is more, "I remember playing Just Dance while my parents fought about the housing crisis and I had no idea who Obama was," but there's still overlap. I'm sure I annoyed the shit out of people who were older than me for the extremely childish nostalgia I had for the 90s.

It does make me feel a bit old though. I wasn't old enough to vote for Obama the first time, but I was very politically active/aware at the time and seeing people reminisce about how they thought he was just some funny president man is... odd, but I'd almost certainly look at Bill Clinton the same way.
