each 1/3rd needs 100 crystalline charges. There's two main ways to get them.

1. Defeat bosses in the depths. There's (I think) 3 of each temple boss for 100 each, then 5 kohga fights for 500, the mini bosses usually drop 20 or so .
2. Get them at forges by trading zonaite for them. The abandoned mines all each have a forge and usually a chest nearby with 20 in them.

Don't worry about having excess, after you max your battery you can buy capsules without needing to use the machines.
