Do they make any reference to Jezal as king? I suppose that's easy enough to eliminate but if they're planning on go all the way with it well...also seeing Cosca here first would be interesting. And Murcatto refusing to bend to Bayaz losses some of it's potency given the audience doesn't know about what he truly is.
Regardless this is one of my favorite series and I do think it would be a good introduction to the world if they want to adapt the whole series.
I honestly think it'd be fine.
Cosca would work well without prior knowledge as IIRC the book spends a good bit of time filling you in on who and what he is anyway, and Murcatto refusing to bend to Bayaz might actually seem even better for her character when you as the viewer have no clue how justified her distrust is.
