Roblox has some appeal to young people who want both games and to make stuff. I don't understand the appeal to parents who would let their kids mess with some thing like that they know nothing about. Most of them who have issues with their kids spending thousands of bucks on the thing are young enough that they can't use "technology advanced too fast" as an excuse.

But yeah, I don't understand the appeal as someone who actually played games before 2010, let alone when I actually first played games.

That aside...

So for me: mobile games. Any game on a phone. A key part of any game is control. There are occasional ones here and there, but having to use a smartphone as a control device is just... insane to me. Like, a mouse, with two buttons, is ten times better, let alone also having a keyboard. Or using basically any controller, including the NES controller. Or even that Romulan starship they call the N64 controller (used it when I was young enough to just learn to handle it though, so it at least has some nostalgia, but with some recent usage I still deem it better than a smartphone's screen).

Which just makes all the Raid shadow legends and Hero Wars ads even more stupid.
