The Zoanite Armor gives the same defense but also gives one of the most busted passives (and set bonuses) in the game. That said both are lower than the armor that you get for doing all of the shrines. At least in terms of the raw armor stat (the Zoanite armor's passive + set bonus is still way better). I haven't ever used the Beam Sword but I somewhat struggle to believe that the bonus to it is going to be anywhere near good enough to make the comparison not the same. NeonTentacles posted...
