Topic	Can I repair this wire myself

You insert the wires into the tube, then use a heat gun to melt the solder in the center, shrink the tubing, and melt the adhesive which seals the connector.and makes it waterproof. I did see these types of sleeves but I don't have a heat gun already so it was less cost effective than the repair I did.
