Even if they make it to the register and pay for it they're still a rude asshole at best. Except it's more like if you're shopping and your cart is getting kind of full so you take something out of your cart and set it back on the shelf while you rearrange the items in your cart to make room and someone comes up and grabs the item you put back off the shelf and takes it to the register and buys it. As far as how rude it was at least. And yeah, even if you did take it out of someone else's cart and run to the register and pay for it, still technically yours but rude as hell and I could see the store refusing to let you buy it or banning you from the store if they witnessed it. --- Is there any other time in a modern democracy where large numbers of citizens complained that their government wasn't enough like a tyrannical dictatorship? ...
