I believe I've seen it mentioned that there's a couple minute grace period in case you get a bike that's broken. I can't find anything on it, but it makes sense. EDIT: Which makes me wonder if you report all the regular bikes as broken, would that activate getting the e-bike for free or cheaper or whatever?
