| videospirit 05/26/23 5:37:26 PM #326: | Hmm so not so much a misunderstanding as him deliberately abusing the citi bike regulations in a way that I don't particularly mind them doing, as long as they're willing to accept the risk that someone else can take the bike after they dock it. He was basically laying claim to a bike that wasn't his, and claiming the woman tried to steal his bike after she scanned the QR code. What she did was pretty rude for sure, so some level of sympathy for the boy, but legally speaking, the bike was hers the moment she scanned the code, and he was in the wrong for restraining it at that point. You can complain about the 45 minute regulations of citi bike, but that's how it works. --- Is there any other time in a modern democracy where large numbers of citizens complained that their government wasn't enough like a tyrannical dictatorship? ...
