Returning a bike and expecting to occupy it without paying the rental cost also isnt something most people would do. Having any physical interaction with a pregnant woman from riding away on her mode of transportation.

Hes a kid and he made a mistake. The rightie tighties need to lay off of him, but hes not in the right to restrain her.

A big defense has been that there were other bikes available. Like, yes, yes there are other bikes that dont have a 6 months pregnant woman on her way to work mounted on top.

Just sounds like some dumb shit I woulda done at that age.
Returning a bike to not pay for higher things is in fact something I've seen people do with even the scooters in my city. So I'm gonna say a hard "no" on that one. This next part isn't even a complete thought to be honest.

Like I said before, it's insane that people can see this lady behaving that way and think "yeah, this is fine behavior from a presumed adult."

And a big no-no is that if a person still actively had their hands on it, you don't take things away from people. The fact that there were multiple bikes that could be used changes literally everything about it. Regardless, that doesn't excuse screaming and hollering like she did. Pregnant or not. Being pregnant doesn't give you the right to be a douche.

Nah, it's an action that makes sense for anyone that doesn't want to pay more for something. The same way that people will park in various spots in a city to avoid eating as much of a price for parking because it's a bit expensive.

The whole thing is stupid, arguments over ownership in events like this happen. The only reason it blew up is because of this woman's ridiculous antics.

There is no actual evidence of that happening, thats part of the he said/she said. The things that there are evidence for are that the guy returned the bike, somebody else went to rent it, and the guy physically prevented her from renting the bike because he wanted to use it again later.
Which still doesn't even explain the bullshit behavior. If someone is still holding the bike, just get another bike. Simple enough. The fuck?
