He takes 10 times less effort to get to incredibly strong power levels that even Thanos can't match for way too little effort. Like, I gotta have a perfect play to beat a Hulk with my Thanos. Meanwhile, Hulk just needs to lose out on 4 energy total and he's already stronger than Thanos.
