you are upset he didnt let her rent it at 7:24 if he wasnt going to use it and wasnt renting it. He rented it at 7:25 to 7:31, so thats a moot point from those times. Whether he went anywhere or not is irrelevant: he rented it so he had possession, by your own logic. He had his literal hands on it, so as far as anyone needs to be concerned, he was about to rent it at any moment. The woman came and took it from him at that time. Anything after that is again, completely irrelevant.
Maybe he didnt leave until 7:59 because he was fucking shook from some jackass lady attacking him and then screaming about it. Doesnt matter. Not your place to decide whether he should have or not.
