| CSCA33 05/25/23 5:13:23 PM #158: | Most people dont personally know a trans person like as a friend or acquaintance, but most everyone has almost certainly encountered a trans person or people at some point. Many live stealth or are otherwise not visibly trans. HRT will make you go through puberty and your biological sex will change, with the expression of genes determined by the dominant sex hormone. Combined with a little effort in presentation and many/most trans people arent noticeable after some time, particularly with folks who are trans masculine or men who are trans. Basically anyone who starts at their first puberty, rather than going through two, is going to be passable, though this is much less common due to all the stigma and transphobia that runs throughout society. Lots of people falsely believe transitioning is primarily or exclusively about getting surgery, or believe that they can always tell if a person is trans or not.
