But like I said, maybe this fight is worth it for other drivers. I cant speak for them.
Much like youtube, everyone sees someone with a side-hustle on Lyft/Uber bring in a pile of money for what looks like easy work, and somehow believes it can be a viable career.
When that doesn't work out, rather than do something else, the usual course of action is to complain loudly, usually with the financial backing of whatever industry was "disrupted" by whatever.
