escape is an insane song honestly, if it wasn't filled with generic... idk, modern electronic music sounds i'm not into in general i'd have probably taken it to r5 or so in favourites which is a huge compliment given the insane corner it's in, super strong stuff. unfortunately it drew maybe the strongest song in its division for me (save for my own noms). despedia is extremely unhinged. i have very strong doubts it is a particularly strong hymmnos here especially in a firmly post-exsphere era, but i mean for me, i'm glad it is here (even if it probably would've been for the best to not be right here)

oh weird i thought this song was 12 mins long i guess that was a different link or i was thinking of something else. feels like this song, despite the difficulties it had in noms, has got a huge amount of potential for this contest. definitely feels very endeavour-ish to me in a fresh way (unfortunately still in a way that i don't care for the vocals, honestly feels like it would be a legitimately better song without them). either way though wouldn't be surprised if this is the 1 seed here which is unfortunate since kdl3's ending is a really solid one that i honestly realise now i like way more than i thought i did. it's simple, but largely because it really commits to the mood it creates. in that way, it's a very nostalgic song, the kind i wish there were more of these days

okay this match is also a bit evil. my main critique about depths is how... rather mixed the influences on it feel here. i feel this chimeratio person could find a more natural balance nowadays, not that i think being overly critical about this reflects how i feel about the song at all. i just notice a number of elements i think are cool but normally wouldn't associate with one another and while it does impress me that it all came together into a cohesive package the fact that i'm still thinking about it in this way bugs me. undersea ocean deluged depths palace temple shrine is one of those songs that i just automatically associate with STEREO. it's nothing revolutionary, in fact it's honestly the simplest song today, but i just love it

not sure how my vote compatibility is going to be today, feels like i'm definitely going against people i'm usually compatible with but it's just how i'm feeling in the moment
