Yet, the more you dig into any of the Lanterns, you realize the greatest talent of the Guardians, in their infinite wisdom, is choosing the right people for what is truly the most grueling, difficult job in the universe. There was an interesting revelation from Pepper today that an entire motley class of bizarre rookie Lanterns actually gels extremely well as a unit because of each of their skills and talents. The universe naturally is filled with the absolute extremes of cultures and societies with a variety of moralities and ethical codes. Bringing them all together requires a truly deft touch, and thus, the more you push for insight with a Lantern, the more you realize the pompous princess Lantern may actually be the dutiful, honorable Lantern you would expect, under the surface.
