I'd argue the magic has been gone. The Lakers have been a bad team for half of his tenure. They happened to turn it on down the stretch this season, but he's been showing his age for a few years now. He used to never get hurt, and it feels like he's missed time due to injury every year in LA. He can be the Lebron of old for good stretches of time, but he can't do it for 40+ minutes every game anymore.

Again, no shame in that, but I feel like people have been slow in coming around on recognizing it because he's Lebron and he's still playing at a very high level, just not his level.
