Pretty much because they were raving about how THIS IS TOTALLY GONNA CHANGE EVERYTHING in the promotions at the time.
But seriously, why the hell is Trigun in the lineup. Instead of fricken ZOIDS: CHAOTIC CENTURY!? Or that IGPX series. Wasn't that like... their own original series? And didn't it like... cause financial problems that partially contributed to their demise?
