And those said alt-rights typically came with a ton of alts. Imagine every shitty take you've seen, and multiply that by a thousand. That was more or less what 261 was. There was the occasional actual discussion, but a lot of the noise on that board was just pointless arguing. Not to mention admins barely ban any account with a decent karma amount.
