I always put it off despite its reputation, because the premise is one of those, "If this is really fucking dumb, it's going to hurt." sort of things. It reminds me a bit of Chobits or Clannad. Despite the humor and silliness, it never seems to get in the way of some actual heartfelt stuff the characters are going through. It's not perfect by any means, but a show like this could have gone way wrong. If the remaining episodes keep the balance of drama and comedy it had in ep 1, this should be a good watch.
