I mainly want to get rid of the fog of war for the area and so far can't do anything other than sidequests in this region. I've only beaten the Rito region and have given up on Kakariko and went to Goron city now. I also hate the depths, the constant need to pull out the light seeds really suck. The only clue to unlocking Kakariko for me is doing Josha's depth research. The old guy working for her mentions that his lab is in the Necluda area and will only be allowed to go back if I help Josha.
